Following a long-standing tradition, the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Department of Mathematical Analysis of the Charles University, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, are going to organize the 9th international school on
Nonlinear Analysis, Function Spaces and Applications (NAFSA 9)
The school will take place from Saturday, September 11, to Friday, September 17, 2010, at Castle Třešť. Třešť (49°17'41"N, 15°29'15"E) is situated in the heart of the Czech-Moravian Highlands, around 150 km from Prague. The program will consist of six lecture courses delivered by invited speakers. The school is the ninth in the series (see history of the schools). The purpose of the meeting is to bring together mathematicians with common interest in the field of function spaces and related topics. Aside from the invited lectures, there will be opportunities for short communications and informal discussions. The abstracts of short talks should be sent to the organizing commitee not later than June 30, 2010. Graduate students and others beginning their mathematical career are encouraged to participate. Proceedings including notes of all invited lectures will be published.
The school is supported in part by the Necas Center for Mathematical Modeling, grant MSM 0021620839 of the Czech Ministry of Education and grant 201/08/0383 of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic.
