General information
Dear Colleague,
Following a long-standing tradition, the
Mathematical Institute
of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Department of
Mathematics of the Czech
University of Agriculture are going to
organize the 7th international spring school on
Nonlinear Analysis, Function Spaces and Applications
(NAFSA 7)
The spring school will take place from
July 17 to July 22, 2002, at the campus of the Czech University of
Agriculture located at the norther outskirts of Prague
(see the
map of the campus and the
plan of
transport connection with central Prague - please note that the hotel
marked on this plan as "Holiday Inn" is now called "Crowne Plaza").
The program will consist of six lecture courses delivered by
invited speakers.
The spring school is the seventh in the series (see history of
the spring schools).
The purpose of the meeting is to bring together mathematicians with
common interest in the field of function spaces and related topics. Aside from the invited lectures,
there will be opportunities for short communications and
informal discussions. Graduate students
and others beginning their mathematical career are encouraged to
participate. Proceedings including notes of all invited lectures will be published.
